Blood donation during the time of COVID-19 is safe and
does not pose any risks, as long as safety precautions and specific recommendations are followed, such as
maintaining the specified safe distance of one and a half meters, maintaining the hygiene of medical equipment
and the medical team.Any healthy individual can donate blood, primarily
those who do not exhibit any symptoms of illness.Individuals experiencing symptoms such as sore throat,
fever, or cough should refrain from donating blood at this time. Also, individuals who have been in contact with
people exposed to COVID-19 should not donate blood.
